Mackin has been successfully performing NBIS inspections for structures ranging from small culverts to large, complex bridges for the Department as well as various municipalities throughout Pennsylvania since 1985. Our inspection staff is current with PennDOT CBSI certification and PennDOT training courses related to bridge inspection. We have received instructor-led OSHA training for Confined Space Entry & Rescue as well as Fall Prevention & Protection that meets federal regulations. We are highly experienced in coordinating traffic control needs, securing non-professional services for inspection access (cranes, lifts, rigging), and coordinating and communicating with major railroads and other agencies to complete NBIS inspections.
