The 60+ acre project was funded through DCNR C2P2 funds. The project included design, engineering and construction documents for a 15-space parking lot, bus loop/drop off, ADA accessible trail segment, and 5-miles of hiking trails. Mackin’s professional trail designers worked with the WPC to establish an alignment to traverse the mountain, flagged the alignment, and create a digitized map of the system for construction document production and for visitor wayfinding purposes. The trail includes several switchbacks, turnpikes, and water crossings.
