The Pasternak Recreation Area Park was designed by Mackin through the PA DCNR Small Community Parks Program. The process included master planning, site design, engineering and construction inspection services. Mackin was responsible for field survey, site design, ADA compliance, NDPES and E/S permitting, and construction document production.
The park plan featured picnic pavilions, walking trails and connection to the woodland trail system, parking additions, landscaping, kayak access to the river and an ADA accessible fishing platform.
