This project consisted of the design of a new flyover roadway/structure from Lysle Boulevard in McKeesport over CSX and Union Railroad tracks to an existing RIDC Industrial Park. The project included traffic improvements on Lysle Boulevard – new turning lanes and traffic lanes plus new signing and pavement marking. The new ramp/bridge provides a direct, safe connection to the Industrial Park and will facilitate economic development and expansion of the Industrial Park. Mackin services included roadway and drainage design, preliminary and final design of a single span (99’) bridge over the railroads, and long approach walls, erosion and sedimentation control, maintenance of traffic, railroad coordination, and coordination of right of way acquisition.
