This project involved the emergency replacement of two bridges that carry traffic over I-70 in Washington County, PA. The project was necessitated due to the collapse of the Lakeview Bridge in December 2005. Aggressive design and construction schedules and severe restrictions on lane closures on I-70 were necessary for maintenance and protection of traffic. Responsibilities included engineering the detour route plans, as well as the maintenance and protection of traffic plans for both bridges.
