Originally built in 1869, the 103-foot, single-span bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is the last known surviving example of Thomas William Moseley’s Wrought-Iron Lattice Girder Bridge design. Mackin’s award winning design work on the structure preserved the bridge while increasing its load capacity without impacting its historic features.
Mackin was recognized for their exceptional work by the Association for Bridge Construction and Design (ABCD). We received the Outstanding Context Sensitive Solutions Bridge Design Award from the Susquehanna Chapter of the ABCD.
