Mackin completed the design of a new modified diamond interchange replacing an at-grade intersection, including reconstruction of one mile of Business Route 60, three local roads, and five structures [a two-span bridge (218’-193’), two culverts, and two walls]. The project included environmental studies, geotechnical studies, hazardous waste mitigation, and extensive coordination with PennDOT District 11-0, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Allegheny County, and numerous other state and local agencies.
