Zoning Ordinances and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances (SALDO) are arguably the most important implementation tools in the planning toolbox for municipalities in Pennsylvania. Collier Township realized this and hired Mackin to update their land use ordinances to be consistent with their recently updated Comprehensive Plan and to assure compliance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.
Several of the short-term action items identified in the Collier Township Comprehensive Plan relate directly to the Zoning and / or Subdivision and Land Development Ordinances.
