Mackin designed a new two-span, 94’ long prestressed concrete spread box beam bridge to replace the existing two-span, I-beam bridge over Rock Creek in Gettysburg. The bridge falls within the Gettysburg Battlefield Historic District and the Gettysburg National Military Park. Mackin extensively coordinated with the National Park Service to keep the replacement structure footprint with the existing footprint.
