Mackin's Landscape Architecture Department is focused on site design
involving the orderly, efficient, aesthetic and ecologically sensitive
integration of man-made objects within the site's natural features. Sensitive
site design produces a development that minimizes both project costs and
environmental impacts, and adds long-term value to the project.
Landscape Architecture includes an analysis of the site to conserve and/or
preserve the significant environmental, historical and cultural resources of
the site. Successful site design adds value to the site by enhancing the
natural and historical character of the space, minimizes environmental
impacts, and reduces construction costs; and our work always includes the
pedestrian and bicyclists as important participants in the transportation
design.
By providing well-managed design and development projects, Mackin's
Landscape Architects offer an essential array of services, expertise and
experience to our clients. Our goal is to produce places of interest, outdoor spaces
with character, and environmentally and economically sustainable projects.
